I am working on a exhibit for the Museum's 2008 summer season which will depict how T.M.R. has changed since 1959 based almost entirely on aerial photography.  We have aerial photographs of T.M.R. for the years 1959, 1962, 1966, 1973, 1986, 1988, 1992, 1995, 2000 and 2004.  We also have a very detailed map of T.M.R. based on the 1962 photograph.  Here are links to the aerial photos plus the T.M.R. Camps located on each lake:

Crystal Lake - Manhattan, Keowa, Rondack, Man, Kunatah, Lakeside, Central.
Davis Lake - Davis Lake, Davis Lake West, Hayden.
Half Moon Lake - Aquehonga.
Lake Nianque - Ranachqua, Nianque, Stillwaters, Family Camp.
Rock Lake - Camp Brooklyn, Kunatah, Ihpetonga, Chappegat, Kotohke.
Turnpike Lake - Headquarters Camp.

Each aerial photo covers one or more lakes at T.M.R. and is divided up into sections.  When you click on a section an enlarged version opens up.

Over the next several months I will need to identify as many details or landmarks in each of these photos as possible.  All this information will be incorporated into the exhibit.  This is where you can help me.  If you feel that you can identify landmarks in one (or more) of the T.M.R. camps, please let me know which camps and for which years.  I will want you to mark up specific aerial photos (or the 1962 map) and send them to me electronically or via the US mail.  I will then incorporate your information into the website and eventually the exhibit.

You can receive the aerial photos and mark them up in a variety of ways:

1. You can download the images off the website, edit them and E-mail them to archivist@tmrmuseum.org
2. I can E-mail you a PDF file of the images you want.  You will print the PDF on your local printer, mark them up and send them to me via the US Mail.
3. You can print the images on your local printer, mark them up and send them to me via the US Mail.
4. I can print the images myself and mail them to you. You would then mark them up and mail them back to me.

If you can help me with this project please let me know.
